Those Eyes

Those eyes
Who have resisted the view of their soul
Whose lens can focus only through its own key hole
Those eyes
Who have been shaped to know only of earthly things, building wealth and stacking rings
Who lose sight of the greatest king
Those eyes
Who see to justify and refuse to understand
Who build naught upon the rock, but revel in their structures on the sand
Those eyes
Who no longer seek the King of kings
Who settle for inferior things
But, Oh,
Those eyes
Who perceive and know
Who watch but do not champion the spectacle or the show
Those eyes
Who seek God above all else
Who humbly submit and die to self
Who live reverently before the Light
Who seek Him with all their might
Those eyes
Who visualize the Throne Room
Who know our precious King is coming soon
Those eyes Who know the sacred and ancient ways
Who live and cry Holy for all of their days
Those eyes
Who see themselves adorned in white
Who wait, prepared like maidens in lamplight
Those eyes
Who see the glory of His Majesty
Who will live in peace for all eternity
Those are the eyes that will see His face.

Only be careful for yourself and watch over your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons. Deuteronomy 4:9
